Wow!! is all I have to say. As so many others have said Dr. Gupta and team are really fabulous. I have never had such a great experience at the dentist. My hygienist was great and Dr. Gupta went out of his way to make sure I understood his care plan. I'm really excited because I've had terrible dental in the past! Oakland Smile, truly did! PS Pay zero attention to the oddball who left the negative review because they don't take walk-ins- uh? yeah? hello? its a medical office not a hair salon.

Just started with this dentist, but I've had two wonderful experiences so far. I was able to get in for a cleaning 1 day after calling as a new patient which was so surprising and very welcomed. Today I went in to repair a chipped tooth and Kaylynn was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the procedure I was about to undergo. Dr. Gupta is a pro and I was out of there in about 25 minutes overall! Highly recommend.

Dr Gupta and staff are always kind and courteous. I appreciate that they are honest and patient with my concerns. It can be very stressful and intimidating to go into a new dental office. But from the get go, Dr Gupta and the staff there have always made me feel welcomed and comforted. They’re the best!

I am very fearful of going to the dentist and I have not had my teeth cleaned in several years because of this. I was referred to Oakland Smile by a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and caring of each and every one of the staff. Sonia and Alyssa at the front desk were so helpful and kind to me in getting my appointment scheduled. I had my teeth cleaned by Dr Gupta and his assistant Kaylynn. They both made me feel incredibly safe while I was in the chair. They were incredibly communicative, supportive and efficient. I was also fitted for a night guard by Dr. Merhawi who was also super kind, communicative and helpful. This is genuinely the best dental experience I have ever had. Thank you so much Oakland Smile!

Best experience with a dentist so far, while it's usually the last place where I want to be. Chosen based on the excellent reviews, and not disappointed. Got 2 crowns in addition to the cleanings, and everything was perfect. The dentist is very meticulous, careful, and attentive. Not pushing for premature care. The staff is very nice and competent.

Wow! I can’t recommend Dr. Gupta and his team enough! As someone who’s always been terrified of going to the dentist, I was blown away by the care and understanding I received. Dr. Gupta is not only a fantastic communicator but also incredibly empathetic. He made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and provided top-notch care. And the rest of the staff? Absolutely an amazing experience at a dental office and the hygienists are wonderful. The staff is really kind and always very helpful to make sure everything goes smoothly for my appointments. They always take it a step further and are always welcoming me and asking about my day which makes the environment feel like home. Dr. Gupta is very patient and caring and at all times an amazing doctor. I started my ortho treatment and everything was very transparent on the financial aspect up-front it's been spectacular. I'm in my last 5 weeks of treatment which is very exciting. What a huge difference it has made in my smile and teeth. I highly recommend it to everyone as a whole the office is amazing.

So kind, knowledgeable, friendly. I love this dentist, feel my health in good hands! Pragmatic, friendly, realistic advice that makes me feel part of my dental health. Lovely staff, wonderful hygenist, awesome dentist. One never says this for dentists but I almost... "Can't wait to come back???"

I am beyond grateful to the amazing staff for taking good care of my elderly father. From the time he walked into the office and greeting warmly, he felt comfortable. Thank you Dr. Gupta for doing excellent bridge work on my father’s front teeth. The results are simply astonishing! Dr. Gupta is the best dentist I have had in my 69 years of dental care. His facility is very welcoming. He explains your options clearly, with a personable and friendly approach. His clean and state of the art facility along with friendly staff leave me with a “smile” during every visit.

As always, Dr. Gupta and his staff are friendly, professional, courteous and efficient. Covid precautions are followed properly and patients are made to feel safe and well-cared for.

Even at my age (75), I still ahve a great fear of having dental work done especially when it comes to needles and drilling. Dr. Gupta put me at great ease and was very attentive to my needs. I was also impressed with the complete make over of the dental complex of offices and the new and modern equipment! One example is when he was describing the condition of one of my teeth and then put his toothbrush sized instrument (a camera) into my mouth and there on the big screen in front of my chair was a picture of my tooth. I could see in real time everything he was talking about. You know what they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” The office staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. I feel happy and no longer dread dental visits thanks to Dr. Gupta and his wonderful staff.

I LOVE how knowledgeable and committed Dr. Gupta is. I was shopping around for a good dentist and comparing…he was by far the best. I come all the way from Walnut Creek with my family to seem him. WORTH THE DRIVE!

I am very appreciative of Dr. Gupta dental care over the years. He is humorous, intelligent, and makes me feel like I am a friend rather than a patient. He is very patient, calming and takes time to explain things so I can understand them and has a sense of humor which helps me. I am always impressed with him as my dentist. Dr. Gupta is both skillful and kind. He brings considerable experience to everything he does but with a uniquely personal touch. If you are his patient you already know this. If you aren’t yet part of his practice you will be so glad you chose him to care for your oral health!

I outlived a near-death accident that, among many injuries, left me without a few teeth and irreparable damage to several others. Though I had previously loved my smile, Dr. Gupta vowed to make it even better than before my accident.

He not only fulfilled his promise, but he did so with an incomparable level of skill, patience, kindness and professionalism. Being able to smile with confidence has been vital to celebrating my successful, overall recovery.
